Coastal HomesCoastal Homes (2008) Ltd and The Small Job Van Ltd have been involved in construction for 22 years. We have previously traded as Bradbury Builders (2003) Ltd until April 2008 we have split Bradbury Builders into: One company (Coastal Homes) specialising in new housing, commercial work and renovations. The other company (The Small Job Van) specialising in maintenance, repairs, alterations, refits and fencing etc. This came about as we saw the different aspects of work required different systems and skills to run the job efficiently.
Coastal Homes are locally owned and operated serving the Far North Area and have a comprehensive showroom where we have colour samples for roofing, joinery, paints, cladding and interior linings on display. When specifying materials for your project we have specific items that give you excellent value and have proven to give top performance. ServicesWe are currently the preferred builder for several insurance companies. We are also the preferred builder in our area for Occupational Therapy and ACC. Occupational Therapy work mainly involves bathroom renovations. We carry out a lot of ACC's work from KawaKawa North. These projects are very detailed and have very specific set out requirements. We also carry out repair and maintenance work for the Council and carry out work for the Department of Conservation.
We have a vast amount of experience in the construction of commercial buildings and renovations, new housing ranging from the smaller batches or first homes to the Architectural homes and renovations. An architectural home that we built in the Coopers Beach Estate has recently won an NZIA award for 2008. We have completed educational type projects in the past such as, 6 toilet upgrades to Taipa Area School. We have recently built a new IT building with decks and retaining walls and staffroom addition for Te Hapua School. And we are currently carrying out work to the Awanui Primary School and renovations to the Taipa Area School administration and office area. ExperienceWe also have all the necessary sub-trades that work with us continually to make the project run efficiently.
We are currently using local subcontractors in this area and will continue to do so. We have no issues also in using preferred sub contractors by people involved in this project. We take pride in building and ensure that every detail is exactly as you want it.
