Des Mulcahy Ltd is a long-established South Canterbury company with a reputation for integrity, quality work and reliability based on more than half a century in business.

Originally established in 1951 by the late Des Mulcahy in partnership with Doug Hinchley, the company has been run by Des Mulcahy’s sons, John and Pat, since 1994.

The company has thrived over the years. It outgrew the original premises in Turnbull Street and eventually moved to its current location in Butler Street in 2001. Along with much needed space for the team of plumbers, gas fitters and other tradesmen, the Butler Street headquarters also includes a showroom with its extensive product range and comprehensive information on many other products and services.
