Mike has lived in Nelson since he was 12 years old, so he knows and loves the region. He is an avid fisherman and goes out whenever he gets the chance. He loves spending time with his three children, Levi, Sam and Ella.

Until very recently, Michael and Tracey owned HomeTech Nelson along with Derek Forsyth, a craftsman plumber. Derek has for the past seven years built the company’s reputation on uncompromised service and the highest quality of workmanship. Derek has now handed the reigns over to the capable hands of Michael and his partner Tracey, but still remains a key member of the team.

Having comprehensively trained in Australia, Mike has achieved the internationally recognised status of Certified Installation Consultant (CIC) for Solatube Daylighting Systems. Mike has been installing the Solatube Daylighting Device and has been a HomeTech licensee since 2007 – proving his passion for and belief in the benefits of the Solatube Daylighting Device. Michael is also a registered electrician and a member of ECANZ, therefore carries the Master Electrician brand.
