Tongue and Groove Soffit Lining Helps to Make Your House Stand Out
We all look for the X-factor that will make our new home stand out from the rest. An area that can often be overlooked is soffit lining.
Unfortunately, the effect of your grand entranceway or large alfresco area can be lost once you look up and see messy, oddly placed sheet jointers.
The consistent lines and minimal unsightly jointers resulting from using tongue & groove lining can make all the difference on your home.
When the owners of this architecturally designed home in Whitford were researching materials at the Auckland Home Show, they were after products that looked great and that also performed. When they came across Dynex Soffit, all their boxes were ticked.
With over 350m² of soffit area to cover, they were after something that would become a feature and sit well with their building design. Using Dynex Soffit tongue & groove soffit lining meant that the overall effect was a finish that will stand the test of time, both visually and practically.
Due to Dynex Soffit being pre-finished and never needing painting, once the soffit was up, the job was done. This not only meant the scaffolding was out of the way quickly, reducing the overall build time, but also reduces on-going maintenance costs that are often associated with painted finishes.
