Future-Proof Building launches new iPad QR code system in Tomorrow's Showhome, Christchurch

03-Nov-2011
Future-Proof Building (FPB) has installed their new iPad application QR code system into the new Jennian Homes show home in Lincoln, Christchurch.

This application enables visitors to the home to scan QR codes located around the house using a touch screen tablet to learn more about each product or service.

The system was developed not only to enhance the experience of visiting a show home, but to help educate visitors about FPB partner products, services and also to enable visitors to interact during their experience in the home. Visitors can request follow up information which will be provided via print and email based on their specific selections.

“After talking to consumers about their experiences we realised that when people went looking at show homes for ideas they often went to more than one home in a day. Many would forget which home they saw their favourite products in, let alone who supplied them”, says Taryn Bax Marketing Manager of Future-Proof Building. “This is the first home to have this feature and we are planning on releasing this through several more before Christmas.”

To try the new FPB iPad application system visit the Jennian Lincoln show home at 16 Tauhinu Street Christchurch, open from 12pm-4pm weekends or weekdays by appointment. To view the virtual tour for this home click here.
