FPB History

March 1985

CMS was born out of the need to provide education to specifiers as opposed to the more traditional sales approaches for selling building products and services

April 1986

CMS becomes a Limited Liability Company in NZ, owned by the initial founders Lester Haycock and Kent Baigent Group.

CMS founding principles:

  1. Put your personality of your brand and people behind your proposition.
  2. Specifiers with the building and services industry require ongoing attention however never have the time to see the long list of people necessary to gain this knowledge
