Cooking Appliances

When it comes to cooking appliances it is important to consider the features of the product that will ensure energy efficiency. Pyrolytic self cleaning ovens not only clean themselves, but also have additional insulation and quadruple glazed doors to keep more heat in the oven- cooking your food, not heating your kitchen. Also our range of cooktops in gas, electric and induction provide choice for different lifestyles. Our induction and ceramic cooktops have Schott Ceran^TM Ceramic Eco glass that uses almost unlimited raw materials and no harmful additives during production to ensure longevity of the product and harmless disposal at the end of its life.

Refrigeration Appliances

Developed in New Zealand, our ActiveSmart^TM system in our refrigeration products utilise technology that adapts to your daily usage, saving you precious energy. Cooling and defrosting is done only according to your lifestyle; the refrigerator will even know when you are on holiday. IZONA CoolDrawer with a 6 star rating on refrigeration mode is a great example of our refrigeration technology that works with you. With the ActiveSmart^TMsystem, multiple temperature settings, and 90cm drawer configuration it has revolutionised kitchen design and optimised food storage.

Washing Machines

We also have a range of products that have been developed specifically to save water. Our AquaSmart^TM high efficiency washing machines were the first top loading washers to achieve a 4 star (WELS) water rating. The AquaSmart^TM has been designed to incorporate the benefits of a top loader; ergonomics, time savings, energy efficiency and clothes care with the water savings of a front loader.

Dishwashing Appliances

Our dishwashing products have combined energy and water savings with innovative ideas. DishDrawer®, in its drawer format combined two dishwashers into one allowing you to run genuine half loads. Thus only the necessary energy and water is used each wash. No more worrying about running half empty dishwashers and sending water, energy and money down the drain.

Our Commitment to Resource Conservation

At Fisher & Paykel Appliances we take a complete lifecycle approach to our products. We select production material that can be recycled, we reuse packaging and employ strict manufacturing standards and processes.  Our cleverly designed appliances reduce energy and water consumption, reducing costs to the end user. Finally at the end of an appliances life, our onsite recycling facility is used to strip down products, removing hazardous refrigerant and minimising landfill waste.
