Keep the peace in your home with New Zealand’s quietest heat pump by Mitsubishi Electric

Mitsubishi Electric understands that you want to feel the warmth, not hear it, so their heat pumps are developed with quietness in mind.

This is important to consider when looking for a heat pump, as extraneous noise in your living and sleeping areas has been proven to be harmful to your wellbeing. The European Night Noise Guidelines define sleep disturbance at 42dBA, and general annoyance at 32dBA. T he Ministry of Education requires the acoustics of learning spaces to be under 35dBA.

At Mitsubishi Electric Japan, heat pumps are rigorously tested and sound ratings are independently certified. Quietness is made possible by increased fan diameter, coil surface area and air inlet duct. These allow air to flow freely – reducing indoor noise as air leaves the heat pump.

This high standard is why Mitsubishi Electric’s GE High Wall Series proudly features New Zealand’s quietest heat pumps – the GE25 to GE35, which start at a whisper quiet 19dBA indoor sound on their lowest fan level.

The KJ25 and KJ35 models in the RapidHeat Floor Console Series also start from 19dBA, offering comfort and whisper-quiet efficiency. This is a significant decrease of 24 percent in noise level compared to other floor consoles.
